wgeaReportingJust when you thought you were going to get on top of things, along comes Government and asks you for more paperwork!

The Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 [wgea.gov.au] requires companies with more than 100 staff to report on a wide range of metrics to do with gender.

The Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 requires non-public sector employers with 100 or more staff to submit a report to the Workplace Gender Equality Agency between 1 April and 31 May each year for the preceding 12 month period (1 April – 31 March reporting period).

Whilst there has been talk about raising the reporting threshold to companies employing over 1000 staff, this has not happened yet!  So the first reporting season is upon us already.  And reports are due in less than 2 months from now.

Expr3ss! has made reporting about recruitment a breeze for you.

The Expr3ss! Track Jobs Report, has ready-to-go settings for the WGEA Report 2013/14 and 2014/15.  Assuming your record-keeping is up-to-date in Expr3ss!, it requires only two clicks to get everything you need.

Navigate to “Track Jobs Report” and look for the WGEA where you’ll find a helpful information panel and settings.  But there’s no need to bother with these because we have it all handled for you.

Simply look down the page for the WGEA button…

… and click the button for the relevant year.

The settings for the WGEA report are automagically inserted.  Simply click the “Create Reports” button and your report is ready in a flash.  Click the “Export” button at the bottom left to download a .csv file suitable for opening in your favourite spreadsheet system [e.g. MS Excel]

And you can filter the jobs to make sub-reports using both the Divisional Filter and the Job Filter.  Interested in Managerial roles?… filter on “Manage” and it’s done in a flash.

Remember to keep your Expr3ss! applicants’ status up-to-date and WGEA reporting about your recruitment activities is a breeze!
